Principal's Message

Message from the Principal: Brother Eric Ali-- When guiding our children toward proper Islamic character, we must remember that part of being a wise teacher or parent is being kind and gentle with our children. During the time of the Prophet (saw), a Bedouin urinated in the masjid. Immediately the Prophet’s companions rushed toward the man to beat him. But the Prophet (saw) told them to leave him alone. After the man finished urinating, the Prophet (saw) told him, “Verily, filth and urine are not permitted in these masjids. Indeed, it is for the remembrance of Allah.” The Messenger said to his companions, “I was sent to make things easy, and I was not sent to make things difficult.” And he poured a bucket of water over the urine. Even though our children were raised in Islam, eventually they will have to choose to be Muslims. Let’s help make the proper decision easy for them.-- Al-Madinah School: 1635 South Saint Andrews Place, Los Angeles, California 90019-- madina@pacbell.net (1-323) 296-5961

If you haven't purchased your e-Book yet, well now's the ideal time to do it. Summer break is almost here.  That means you’ll be interacting with your kids from sun up to sun down, insha’Allah. Your Discipline without Disrespecting e-Book and e-Workbook provide you with a treasure of valuable tips and techniques to help keep your little ones behaving appropriately with less stress on your end.

Using your e-Workbook in conjunction with your e-book will also help you stay motivated to continue reading your e-book from beginning to end, Insha’Allah.   It will also assist you in putting the valuable information you’ve learned into practice to help you increase your child’s obedience more peacefully.

For those of you who do have a copy of the e-Book, you already know once people purchase new items, such as your Discipline without Disrespecting e-Book, their zeal tends to diminish after they’ve had it for some time.   I want to encourage you to continue reading your Discipline without Disrespecting e-Book.  Insha’Allah, throughout the e-Book you will find much valuable information that I have found to be most effective with my 11 children and hundreds of students of over 30 years. Following up your e-Book readings by answering the questions in your e-Workbook is one of the most effective ways of staying motivated in your readings and acting upon what you’ve learned.

Your e-Workbook also gives you an added Bonus in making obeying easier and discipline simpler for you and your child!  At the end of each lesson, you will find the On Your Own Section.  Here you will find additional resources and activities to research and perform independently.   This will allow you to make disciplining without disrespecting a part of your nature, inshaAllah.
