Summertime/School-Out Discipline Tips by: Grandma Jeddah

Summertime/School-Out Discipline Tips by: Grandma Jeddah

Assalamu Alaikum Mothers,

Soon school will be out and your children will be home most of the day. If you are concerned that they will have little or no structured time at home which might lead to increased discipline problems, Grandma Jeddah has some suggestions.   Try to be proactive this summer to help minimize discipline problems in your home.  Here is a courtesy reminder of how you can start summer off right for you and your children, insha'Allah.

Please visit Grandma Jeddah's website and go to the Ask Grandma Jeddah and Grandma Jeddah's Tips pages. You will find loads of valuable parenting help on those pages that give you tips on managing those exasperating tantrums to handling kids with ADHD.  And don't forget about the Newsletter Archives page.  Grandma Jeddah has compiled all of her previous newsletters in the archives for your review. Some of the topics you will find in the archives are gentle ways to encourage your child to fast (Ramadan is coming soon) to controlling your strong-willed child.

The page that most mothers seem to take great benefit from is the Parenting Support page. On this page Grandma Jeddah has gathered parenting and discipline websites, articles, videos, audio recordings and much more.  All of these resources are there for you. Please take advantage of them to help you start off this summer with a more pleasant and manageable household for you and your children,  insha'Allah.

And finally, don't forget to visit Grandma Jeddah's blog, where you will find article after article of discipline help, insha'Allah. Please click on the links to our website and blog below.

Oh, and don't forget . . . Grandma Jeddah will be announcing her new e-book later this month, insha'Allah. I think you will really like the topic, insha'Allah.
I ask that Allah blesses all your children to grow up as good Muslims and that He blesses you and your family with the good of this world and the hereafter and protect you from the hellfire.
