Your Late Blooming Young Adult (By Saleh Ali)

Our society is overly obsessed with early achievement

Unfortunately, late bloomers and kids who possess non-traditional talents are often left behind. Your child may not be making straight As - and that's OK.

I won’t forget this girl for a long time. No, she didn’t score well on exams and she hardly grasped any of the concepts the first time. Or the second time. All year long she sat at her desk relatively quietly and was very reluctant to share.  ...

... Perhaps they will bloom later than the schedule society has set for them. You don’t want to lose them before their time comes. Keep watering the dirt, even if you’ve yet to see the shoots emerge from the soil. It’s coming. Be patient.
